About the Project
Meridian is replacing the existing belt press at the Los Alamos Wastewater Treatment Plant with a new dewatering system while keeping the operating plant in service throughout construction. The work requires temporary dewatering equipment, temporary power, yard piping and valving, and carefully sequenced connections before the existing equipment can be demolished and removed.
Following demolition, Meridian is installing the new dewatering screw press, pumps, ancillary equipment, process piping, instrumentation, controls, and associated concrete and fabrication work. Meridian is self-performing 83% of the project, keeping the critical mechanical and piping scopes directly under field control.
