Alternative Delivery
Meridian's Approach by Delivery Method
CMAR
Meridian's role in a CMAR project begins before construction, where field experience can influence how the work is planned, priced, and sequenced. We bring constructability input, scope validation, phasing, equipment and crew planning, and real-world feedback on how the work will actually be executed. Early involvement helps identify risk before it reaches the field and creates a clearer path from preconstruction into delivery.
Design-Build
In a design-build environment, Meridian works collaboratively with the design team to connect engineering decisions with field execution. Our design-assist capabilities support constructability, site civil solutions, selected structural and utility components, sequencing, and the practical integration of self-performed scopes. That involvement helps reduce redesign, clarify responsibility, and improve the transition from design to construction.
IDIQ / MATOC
Meridian supports federal indefinite-delivery contracting through task-order execution that requires speed, flexibility, and disciplined coordination. Our self-perform model allows us to mobilize crews and equipment efficiently, adapt to changing scopes, and maintain accountability across multiple task orders and locations. Any active IDIQ or MATOC vehicles should be specifically named here once confirmed.
Self-Performed Capabilities
What we bring to this work
- Box culvert design-assist and construction
- Drainage system earthwork and grading
- Flood-control infrastructure
- Utility pipe procurement and installation
- Large-diameter pipe installation
- HDPE pipe fusing
- Water and wastewater utility construction
- Concrete structures and foundations
- Cast-in-place concrete
- Canal and water-conveyance improvements
- Water-adjacent site civil
- Excavation and backfill
- Utility relocation and tie-ins
- Erosion-control and bank-stabilization work
- Remote and constrained-site civil construction
Why Self-Performance Matters Here
Meridian's self-performance model reduces the number of variables owners have to manage in alternative delivery environments. Because the crews, equipment, and field leadership already exist within one organization, Meridian can participate earlier, price work with greater visibility into execution, and respond more quickly when scope, sequencing, or conditions change. That continuity helps preserve accountability from preconstruction through final delivery.
