Founded in 2003 by Mark Sutton and Ted Haworth, our journey began as a small Tucson construction company. As veterans in the construction sector, Sutton and Haworth worked together at a prior firm before combining their expertise to fill an undeniable void in the field of specialized infrastructure solutions with Meridian Engineering. With a wealth of grit, hard work, and determination, the duo laid the groundwork for what soon expanded into the Southwest’s leading civil construction company.

By the late 2000s, business was booming and we were known as a premier source for high-quality construction. This led us to expand the company’s reach to establish a permanent presence in Albuquerque, New Mexico, marking the debut of our reputation as the Southwest’s powerhouse heavy civil/industrial construction provider.
