Meridian Engineering secured the Lower Montoyas Arroyo Water Quality feature as a low-priced, qualified bidder. This flood control project called us to address sediment removal and drainage redirection while enhancing the landscape aesthetics of the site. However, we were faced with several unique challenges, including monsoon weather events and the need to source the appropriate boulders and riprap materials.

To accommodate these vital flood control demands, we tailored a solution in accordance with the project specifications, effectively partnering with stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives. Using advanced excavation protocols, storm culverts, structural concrete, demolition procedures, SWPPP measures and riprap placement, we were successful in delivering a high-quality flood control solution.
