  • Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships from bid through closeout

  • Review and interpret blueprints, project specs, and field reports

  • Lead and mentor field teams, foremen, and engineers to meet safety and productivity standards

  • Prepare cost forecasts, monitor job cost data, and collaborate with accounting and estimating teams

  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with QA/QC plans

  • Serve as the primary client contact for industrial and municipal partners

🔎 A Day in the Life of a Project Manager:

  • Meet with field superintendents and foremen to align on daily goals

  • Resolve RFIs, submittals, and material/equipment logistics

  • Communicate with owners and engineers on project performance and change orders

  • Review daily logs, timecards, and cost tracking tools

  • Coordinate with the Safety Manager on site inspections and pre-task planning

  • Plan next week’s schedule with procurement and operations teams

📈 Measurements of Success:

  • Projects delivered on time, on budget, and with no safety violations

  • Positive field morale and staff retention through effective leadership

  • Proactive identification and resolution of potential delays or issues

  • Accurate forecasting and clean hand-off from project startup to closeout

🧰 Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy civil project management

  • Proficiency with project management tools, Bluebeam, and blueprint reading

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (preferred but not required)

  • Proven success in leading field crews and managing client relationships

  • Experience with infrastructure, industrial, and heavy construction projects

  • Ability to travel to job sites in Southern AZ as needed

🎯 What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and performance

  • Fully paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability options

  • 401(k) retirement with company match

  • Company vehicle and fuel card

  • Strong company culture and clear career growth path

  • Opportunity to lead high-profile infrastructure projects across the Southwest
