Location: Tucson, AZ
Pay: $70,000 – $125,000 annually (based on experience)

Meridian Engineering is a trusted heavy civil contractor operating across Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Our Industrial Division builds and maintains vital infrastructure — from mining operations to reservoirs, bridges, and roadways. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead field teams, coordinate internal resources, and drive results for our most critical industrial construction projects.
This is a high-impact role where leadership, technical expertise, and relationship-building intersect.
Oversee all phases of assigned industrial construction projects (earthwork, concrete, mining, utility work, etc.)
Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships from bid through closeout
Review and interpret blueprints, project specs, and field reports
Lead and mentor field teams, foremen, and engineers to meet safety and productivity standards
Prepare cost forecasts, monitor job cost data, and collaborate with accounting and estimating teams
Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with QA/QC plans
Serve as the primary client contact for industrial and municipal partners
Meet with field superintendents and foremen to align on daily goals
Resolve RFIs, submittals, and material/equipment logistics
Communicate with owners and engineers on project performance and change orders
Review daily logs, timecards, and cost tracking tools
Coordinate with the Safety Manager on site inspections and pre-task planning
Plan next week’s schedule with procurement and operations teams
Projects delivered on time, on budget, and with no safety violations
Positive field morale and staff retention through effective leadership
Proactive identification and resolution of potential delays or issues
Accurate forecasting and clean hand-off from project startup to closeout
3+ years of experience in heavy civil project management
Proficiency with project management tools, Bluebeam, and blueprint reading
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (preferred but not required)
Proven success in leading field crews and managing client relationships
Experience with infrastructure, industrial, and heavy construction projects
Ability to travel to job sites in Southern AZ as needed
