Sean leads operations for Meridian Engineering & Contracting, overseeing multi-state project execution, preconstruction strategy, safety, and field performance across Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.
At Meridian, Sean is responsible for driving operational performance and ensuring projects are planned, executed, and delivered with discipline. His leadership emphasizes accountability, consistency, and strong field engagement — regularly working alongside project teams and reinforcing expectations through direct involvement. He has led the development of workforce structures, performance systems, and operational frameworks that support scalable growth while maintaining a strong connection to the field.
VP of Operations
Sean’s leadership is grounded in Meridian’s guiding principles and a belief that the organization exists to create an environment where people can perform at their best. He is known for building strong teams, developing leaders, and maintaining a culture centered on safety, respect, and accountability.
With more than 30 years of experience spanning both electrical contracting and heavy civil construction, Sean brings a unique cross-trade perspective to complex infrastructure delivery — combining deep craft knowledge with disciplined operational leadership. His career began in California within the electrical contracting trade, where he developed the hands-on field experience and operational foundation that continue to shape his leadership style. He later advanced into executive leadership roles, including building and successfully exiting his own electrical contracting business before transitioning into heavy civil and mine site construction.
This cross-trade experience allows Sean to operate at a systems level across projects — understanding how utilities, power, earthwork, and structural scopes integrate in the field. He is equally comfortable engaging in detailed trade coordination as he is leading enterprise-level discussions around production planning, equipment utilization, safety performance, and project controls. This perspective makes him a highly effective leader on complex projects and a trusted partner to clients who require coordinated, technically sound execution.
Beyond his professional role, Sean has remained actively involved in workforce development and community engagement throughout his career. He has served on the Board of the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) of Southern Arizona, supporting apprenticeship and trade education programs, and currently serves on the Pinal County Workforce Development Board. In this role, he contributes to regional workforce strategy, helping bridge the gap between industry needs and training pathways while supporting the development of the skilled trades workforce.
Sean is based in Casa Grande, Arizona and supports Meridian’s operations across the Southwest.
