
Trace leads estimating and business development for Meridian overseeing preconstruction strategy and positioning the company to pursue and win complex infrastructure projects across Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.
At Meridian, Trace is responsible for translating complex project scopes into disciplined, accurate, and competitive bids that set the foundation for successful execution. His leadership ensures alignment between estimating and operations — strengthening project handoffs, improving predictability, and supporting Meridian’s ability to deliver work on time and on budget.
With more than 28 years of experience in heavy civil and infrastructure construction, Trace brings a deep understanding of both project execution and preconstruction strategy. His 14-year tenure with Meridian includes progression from Senior Estimator and Project Manager to Vice President, providing him with a practical, field-informed perspective that strengthens estimating accuracy and supports real-world constructability.
Trace plays a key role in Meridian’s growth strategy, helping expand the company’s presence across the Southwest while supporting pursuits in municipal, federal, and private infrastructure markets. His work directly contributes to Meridian’s ability to secure technically complex projects and build long-term client relationships.
He holds an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Colorado State University. He also maintains a Well Driller License in the State of New Mexico, supporting Meridian’s capabilities in dewatering and groundwater management.
