Lead Projects in Mining-Driven Civil Construction

Headquartered in Tucson, we deliver high-impact projects—from haul roads and dewatering systems to site prep and structural concrete—for mining clients and public agencies alike. As a Project Manager, you’ll own the planning and execution of complex, schedule-sensitive jobs that support essential industry operations across the region.
Lead civil construction projects for mining operations, public infrastructure, and industrial clients
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and work plans
Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors to meet critical milestones
Maintain strong client relationships and serve as primary project contact
Monitor project performance, adjust resources as needed, and ensure financial and operational success
Ensure safety and environmental compliance across all phases of work
Represent Meridian with professionalism and integrity on-site and in client interactions
Begin the day reviewing progress updates, schedule forecasts, and site reports
Host planning meetings with field teams and subcontractors
Travel to project sites to assess progress, resolve issues, and communicate with clients
Coordinate procurement or contracting items, update documentation, and monitor costs
Meet with owners, engineers, or agency reps to provide status and maintain trust
End the day forecasting next steps, preparing reporting, and flagging any critical issues to senior leadership
On-time and on-budget delivery of high-value civil construction projects
Strong client satisfaction and repeat business
Effective team coordination and subcontractor management
Clean safety record and regulatory compliance
Timely and accurate reporting and financial oversight
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
2+ years of experience managing heavy civil projects—mining project experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with mine site safety protocols and remote project logistics
Proficient in scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination tools (Primavera, Procore, MS Project)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
PMP certification is a plus
Willingness to travel regionally for project oversight
