We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations from preparatory planning through final site closeout. The Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel on our construction sites. (As of 082726) Meridian is hiring a Heavy Equipment Superintendent Think Like a Mechanic. Lead Like a Superintendent. Can you walk up to a down machine and know where to start? Can you tell the difference between fixing the immediate problem and fixing everything needed to put that machine reliably back to work? Have you earned enough credibility in the shop that experienced mechanics will listen when you challenge the diagnosis or repair plan? Can you lead a team where “good enough” isn’t good enough—and where equipment doesn’t go back to the field until it’s truly ready? If those questions sound like how you’ve spent your career, we should talk.
(As of 07/10/26) Meridian Engineering is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator or Senior Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team. This is first and foremost an estimating position responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates for heavy civil construction projects. Unlike many larger contractors where estimators spend their careers focused solely on producing bids, Meridian provides the opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, collaborate closely with operations, influence pursuit strategy, strengthen relationships within your market, and make a visible impact on the future of the company.
