We are a heavy civil engineering company in Arizona, New Mexico and the west slope of Colorado and are looking to fill a newly created position that really handles multiple tasks within the organization. This could include budgets, estimates, schedules, bids, contracts,
insurance, AR/AP as well as Safety metrics and onboarding of new employees. This role would support the Engineering Project Manager / Superintendent and work out of our Albuquerque office.

 

Responsibilities:

Tracking metrics and deadlines as outlined by the contracts with an eye on profitability, safety and relationship building.
Obtaining necessary permits, approvals and any other regulatory prerequisites as well as drafting and submission of budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Manage costs to meet budget. Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts.
Manage the construction schedule and activities. Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines.
Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.

*Minimum Requirements*

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Proficiency in using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
• Ability to read plans and specs is beneficial.
• Scheduling experience software application

Job Type: Full-time Salary based on experience (50-75k)
